Saint Profile

Saint Carlo Acutis is a young saint who bore witness to the faith in the digital age and is often called “God’s influencer.” Born in London in 1991 and raised in Italy, he said, “The Eucharist is my highway to heaven,” and from the age of seven he placed daily Mass and Eucharistic adoration at the center of his life. Using his remarkable computer skills, he created a website documenting Eucharistic miracles from around the world and dedicated himself to spreading the faith through digital media. Inspired by Saint Francis of Assisi, he also took the lead in helping the poor. Until his death from leukemia in 2006, he offered his suffering for the Church and for the Pope. In accordance with his wishes, he was buried in Assisi. He was canonized in 2025, and his memorial is celebrated on October 12.
